Iranian Film Festival Australia announces winners

The 6th edition of the Iranian Film Festival Australia has announced its winners in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

The names of the winners of this edition were announced on May 14th, 2017, at the Australian embassy in Tehran.

The winners list includes:

Best Film for 'Life+1 Day' by Saeed Roustaei

Special Jury Award for ‘A Dragon Arrives!’ by Mani Haghighi

Best Director to Hiwa Aminnejad for ‘Farewell Analog’

Best Actor to Nasser Hashemi for his role in ‘My Brother Khosrow'

Best Actress to Leila Hatami for her role in ‘Me’

The jury members of the 6th edition of the Iranian Film Festival Australia included Fatemeh Motamed-Arya and Shahram Mokri.

The Iranian Film Festival Australia is an independent cultural establishment that was founded in the year 2010 in Australia.
